Thanks to ALL exhibitors in the 2009 NTLBA Spring Show, again this year the show was a big success with over 200 entries! Show Coordinators, Kevin & Laury Rooker and the many volunteers did an excellent job planning and executing of the event.

POINTS OF INTEREST:

Youth Showmanship Clinic – Sarah Galloway hosted a clinic Friday evening to instruct and review the “dos & don’ts” of how to show your animal. The clinic was divided into two groups with each group entering the ring in a mock show

 Adult Showmanship -  a fundraiser to help with the TLBT World Show. Emily Phillips coordinated this event that raised over $400. The adults were judged by a panel of TLBT members on their knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm in the ring

Saturday Evening Fajita Dinner – silent auction bids continued through dinner with Theresa Tabor & Kim Hudson finalizing the sales after last second bids were made. Russell Hooks served as our auctioneer for the live auction items which included a “rocking steer” made by Jim Pack. The Adult Showmanship Awards were presented along the Youth Art Contest winners

Speakers at the dinner included TLBAA directors Kerry Mounce and Robert Richey as well as affiliate president Mary Dawn Tekell and Vice President Dick Curry. The dinner was again catered by Risky’s Bar-b-que
