The NTLBT is an excellent youth organization to be involved in. Many opportunities exist to show Texas Longhorns, such as the Wise County Youth Fair, The Holiday Extravaganza in Decatur, and the Spring show in Sulphur Springs. Respect, responsibility, integrity, and self confidence run deep in this excellent organization and are just a few of the many life lessons you will experience.

In 2014, I was granted a heifer through the calf donation program and the experience has been priceless! Since then, my family has grown our herd to 18.  I have 5 Texas Longhorns in my own ranch name that I started in 2016. I can provide more information regarding the calf donation program if you’re interested in getting started.

Another great opportunity with the NTLBT is the scholarship available to graduating seniors. As long as you are active in showing Texas Longhorns, the scholarship could be yours! (Parents LOVE this benefit!)

So what are you waiting for? The sooner you begin showing this Texas icon, the more fun you will have. Take my advice and jump in with both horns!
