The NTLBA Youth are one of the most active, visible, and valued parts of our association. Their involvement goes far beyond the show ring. Throughout the year, youth members contribute to fundraising efforts that support our scholarship program, assist with educational activities, and help create a welcoming environment at all NTLBA events.

Youth members play an essential role at our two annual shows and our yearly field day. They may be asked to assist with setup and cleanup, help run games and music, support younger exhibitors, and contribute to the overall experience that makes NTLBA events memorable for families across North Texas.

Youth officers are elected by their peers each March at the Sulphur Springs Show. Their leadership term begins in the summer following the election and concludes at the end of the annual TLBAA World Show in June. These officers serve as representatives of the youth program, helping guide activities, support fellow members, and uphold the values of the North Texas Longhorn Breeders Association.
